“Watch Out, It’ll Bite” is a black-and-white India Ink and Acrylic Ink illustration using a dip pen. It was an intro project for Art 273 at Cal Poly Humboldt for the Fall 2023 semester. The project started as a class exercise of Lynda Barry’s Scribble Monster Jam drawing exercise. From this, a selected drawing was chosen to be recreated using traditional materials. Illustrated is a venus flytrap monster with eyes embedded in its traps, planted in a cute terracotta pot.
