Atlas Dearborn (they/them/theirs) is a queer, trans, and disabled artist born in Stockton, CA, practicing in the northern region of Humboldt County. They are in their last semester at Cal Poly Humboldt, where they are finishing their Bachelor of Arts in Art Education and Studio Art.

Atlas is a future art educator. Their artistic practice focuses on metalsmithing, illustration, and graphic design. They hope to teach jewelry classes one day, but they are currently focusing on getting into the Cal Poly Humboldt Teacher’s Credential program for Fall 2025.

They have had their work featured in a multitude of exhibitions, both local and country-wide. Atlas’s work focuses on exploring themes from childhood in combination with applying medium-specific techniques and the elements of art, creating deeply personal compositions. Their work is a self-portrait of lived experiences in hopes of finding connections with others to communicate specific themes and moments.
