In Spring 2024 at Cal Poly Humboldt, in my Fabrications Techniques class, I learned how to construct a box clasp and a curb chain. It was a lengthy and frustrating process of assembling these small components together. But from this process, I learned how many of the components of jewelry that are taken for granted are in fact impressive in their complexity.
